3D printing is a revolutionary technology that has opened up a world of possibilities with the ability to create complex and organic forms that would otherwise be impossible with traditional manufacturing methods. From prototyping and product development to production, additive manufacturing provides the flexibility to produce parts and components with intricate geometries and designs, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the world of manufacturing. By providing a faster, more efficient, and more cost-effective method of production, 3D printing is poised to play a major role in shaping the future of manufacturing and beyond.
The pursuit of business diversification naturally led to the luxury market. New opportunities that challenged us to improve our service at all levels employing advanced techniques to ensure that each piece of furniture meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
As Movecho has grown, it has always maintained an environmental vision which defends that production activity should not, and cannot, be incompatible with environmental balance. In 2007, a biomass boiler was installed, resulting in energy recovery from agglomerated waste that enables heating the entire factory. In 2008, it had its own wastewater treatment plant built in order to treat wastewater.
In 2004, Movecho took on its identity. This was the turning point, with the launching of the first logo and the first catalogs.
In 2001, Movecho underwent a profound and extensive change in its corporate strategy. It began to focus on industrial restructuring, investing significantly in new technologies, in the diversification and flexibility of production, and in customization and specialization in niche markets. This strategy resulted in capturing new markets and customers.
From 1989 to 2000, Movecho focused on the production of office furniture in lacquered MDF (an innovation, at the time), mainly for export. During this period, more precisely in 1992, Movecho emerged as a producer of office furniture for the domestic market. The market’s receptivity was such that, in 2000, Movecho’s managerial staff carried out an MBO and, in 2001, took over the management of the company. The body of shareholders has remained the same to this day. The first retail projects also appeared between 2000 and 2001.
