Currently, the main activity is the production of custom-made equipment and interiors for commercial and service spaces, restaurants and hotels.

1989

Origins and Specialization

Between 1989 and 2000, Movecho focused on the production of lacquered MDF office furniture, an innovative solution at the time, primarily aimed at export markets. In 1992, the company began manufacturing for the domestic market, where its products were met with strong acceptance. As a result of this growth, the management team carried out a Management Buyout (MBO) in 2000, taking over the company's management in 2001. The shareholding structure has remained unchanged ever since. Between 2000 and 2001, Movecho also developed its first projects in the retail sector.

2001

Retail Market

In 2001, Movecho embarked on a major strategic transformation through an extensive industrial restructuring based on technological innovation, production diversification, and process flexibility. Its commitment to customization and specialization in niche markets enabled the company to attract new clients and expand into new markets.

2004

Brand Identity

Movecho established its brand identity with the introduction of its first logo and the publication of its first brand catalogues, marking a new phase in the company's communication and market positioning.

2007

Industrial Sustainability

Environmental awareness has always been an integral part of Movecho’s strategy. In 2007, a biomass boiler was installed, enabling the energy recovery of wood-based panel waste while ensuring the heating of the entire manufacturing facility.

Water Resource Management

A dedicated wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) was built, strengthening the company’s environmental commitment and the sustainable management of water resources.

Luxury Market

Business diversification naturally led to entry into the luxury market. New opportunities challenged the company to raise its service standards and adopt advanced production techniques, ensuring furniture of the highest quality standards.

Brand Evolution

The visual identity of Movecho was renewed, reinforcing the company’s positioning and modernizing the brand.

Energy and Sustainability

A water reservoir was installed for rainwater harvesting, strengthening the capacity of the fire-fighting network. In the same year, photovoltaic panels were installed, marking the beginning of on-site energy production and reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainability.

Identity Update

A new update to the visual identity was introduced, continuing the brand’s evolution and modernization.
