Chronology

1989

Between 1989 and 2000, Movecho produced office furniture in lacquered MDF (an innovation at the time), mostly for export. During this period, more precisely in 1992, Movecho emerged as a producer of office furniture for the domestic market. The market was so receptive that in 2000 the management of Movecho made an MBO (management buyout) and took over the management of the company in 2001. The body of shareholders remains unchanged to this day. Even between 2000 and 2001, the first projects appeared in the retail area.

2001

In 2001, Movecho underwent a profound and comprehensive change in its business strategy, undergoing an industrial restructuring with a strong commitment to new technologies, productive diversification and flexibility, customization and specialization in niche markets. This strategy results in attracting new markets and customers.

2004

In 2004, Movecho assumed its identity. It was the turning point when the first Movecho logo and catalogs were launched.

2008

The environmental vision was always present in the growth of Movecho, arguing that productive activity should not and cannot be incompatible with environmental balance. In 2007, a biomass boiler was installed, resulting in the energy recovery of agglomerate waste, ensuring the heating of the entire plant. In 2008, an own plant was built to treat wastewater.

2012
